Replacement

  1. Remove the rear door module. (Refer to Rear Door - "Rear Door Module")
  2. Remove the tailgate outside handle base (A) by pressing the lock pins located at the rear.
  3. Disconnect the tailgate outside handle cable (A).
  4. Disconnect the rear door lock connector (B).
  5. Remove the tailgate lock assembly (A) by pulling it out.
  6. Remove the tailgate inside handle cable (A) by pulling it out.
  7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
