Rear Door Module Repair Procedures

Replacement

1. 1
   Remove the rear door glass. (Refer to Rear Door - "Rear Door Glass")

   Remove the rear door outside handle. (Refer to Rear Door - "Rear Door Outside Handle")

   Loosen the bolt and nuts of the rear door channel.

   Tightening torque: 3.9 ~ 5.9 N·m

   Remove the rear door channel (A).

   Loosen the outside handle base mounting bolt (A).

   Loosen the tailgate latch mounting screws (B).

   After loosening the mounting bolts, remove the tailgate module (A).

   Tightening torque: 6.9 ~ 10.8 N·m

   Disconnect the tailgate module mounting clip (B).

   Disconnect the connectors and wiring harness of the rear door module (A).

   

10. 10
    Install in the reverse order of removal.
