Fuse Inspection

  1. Make sure the fuse holders have no play and that the fuses are held securely.
  2. Make sure the fuse ratings for each circuit are correct.
  3. Check whether the fuse is blown. If it is necessary to replace the fuse, be sure to use a new fuse of the same rating. Always determine why the fuse blew first, and fully correct the problem before installing a new fuse.

Inspection

  1. The SJB can be diagnosed using GDS. The SJB communicates with GDS, which then displays the inputs and outputs together with the codes.
  2. To diagnose the SJB function, select the vehicle model, BCM and SJB.
  3. To view the SJB input/output current values, select "Current Data". This provides information on the SJB input/output conditions.
  4. To perform a functional check of the SJB outputs, select "Actuation Test".
