To remove the head restraint:

1. Tilt the seatback (2) forward using the reclining lever (1).

2. Raise the head restraint as far as possible.

3. Press the headrest lock button (3) and pull the headrest up (4).

WARNING - Headrest Removal

NEVER allow anyone to sit in a seat with the headrest removed. Headrests may provide critical neck and head support in a crash.

To reinstall the head restraint:

1. Insert the head restraint posts (2) into the holes while pressing the release button (1).

2. Tilt the seatback (4) forward using the reclining lever (3).

3. Adjust the headrest to the appropriate height.

WARNING - Headrest Reinstallation

To reduce the risk of head or neck injury, always make sure the headrests are locked in position and properly adjusted after reinstallation.
