Roof Lights

Front Map Lights

When the overhead light switch is in the DOOR or OFF position, press the lens to turn on the front map lights, then press the lens again to turn them off.

NOTE

The front map lights do not illuminate, even when the lens is pressed, in the following cases:

• The overhead light switch is set to ON.
• The overhead light switch is in the DOOR position with the door open.
• The illuminated entry system is activated.

Rear Map Light

When the overhead light switch is in the DOOR or OFF position, press the lens to turn on the rear map light, then press the lens again to turn it off.

NOTE

• The rear map light turns on/off when you turn the overhead light switch on or off.
• The rear map light does not turn off, even when the lens is pressed, in the following cases:

• The overhead light switch is set to ON.
• The overhead light switch is in the DOOR position with the door open.
• The illuminated entry system is activated.

Courtesy Lights

Illuminates when any door is open or when the illuminated entry system is operating.

Illuminated Entry System

When the illuminated entry system operates, the overhead light (switch in DOOR position) and the courtesy lights illuminate for:

• Approximately 30 seconds after the driver's door is unlocked and the ignition switch is turned off.
• Approximately 15 seconds after all doors are closed and the ignition switch is turned off.
• Approximately 5 seconds after all doors are closed and the ignition switch is turned off when the key is outside the vehicle.
• Stays on for approximately 15 seconds after the ignition switch is turned from ACC to OFF.

The lights also turn off when:

• The ignition switch is turned on and all doors are closed.
• The driver's door is locked.

NOTE

Battery Saver

• If a door or the trunk lid remains open, the lights will turn off after approximately 30 seconds to conserve battery power.
• The operation of the illuminated entry system may be changed.
