Storage compartments

Important safety notes

WARNING

Keep storage compartments closed when transporting objects in them. Do not place heavy objects in the luggage nets.

Otherwise, vehicle occupants could be injured by objects thrown forward in the event of

• heavy braking
• sudden change of direction
• an accident

Do not transport fragile or sharp objects in the luggage net.

Front storage compartments

Glove box

• Opening: pull handle 1 and lower cover 2.
• Closing: raise cover 2 until it locks.

A pen holder is located at the top of the glove box cover.

Glasses case

• Opening: press at marking 1.

Storage compartment in the center console

• Opening: briefly press the cover at marking 1.

Storage compartment in front of the armrest (vehicles with automatic transmission)

• Opening: briefly press the cover at marking 1.

Opening: briefly press the cover at marking .

Storage compartment/phone storage compartment under the armrest

• Opening: on vehicles with an adjustable armrest, make sure the armrest is in the rear position.
• Press button 1 and raise the armrest.

Depending on the vehicle equipment, the storage compartment may contain a USB port and an AUX IN port or a media interface. A media interface is a universal interface for portable audio devices, such as iPods
