DEACTIVATION

  • Switch off the ignition and remove the key.
  • Wait a few minutes.
  • Disconnect the battery.
  • Wait at least 1 minute before any work to allow the control module to deactivate.
  • Discharge static electricity by touching a bodywork ground.

REACTIVATION

  • Connect all components of the airbag system.
  • Reconnect the battery.
  • Driver side, door open, switch on the ignition while keeping clear of the deployment zone.
