Adjusting the ventilation nozzles
The ventilation nozzles in the Mercedes E-Class (4th generation, W212, 2009–2016) offer versatile adjustment options for optimal air distribution in the interior. Drivers and passengers can adjust the nozzles individually to direct the airflow as needed. This keeps the climate pleasant and draft-free at all times.
Important Safety Notes
WARNINGVery hot or very cold air can flow out of the ventilation nozzles. This can cause burns or frostbite in the immediate vicinity of the ventilation nozzles. Risk of injury!
Always make sure that all vehicle occupants keep a sufficient distance from the ventilation nozzles. If necessary, direct the airflow to another area of the vehicle interior.
To ensure fresh air supply into the vehicle interior through the ventilation nozzles, observe the following notes:
- Keep the air intake between the hood and the windshield free of deposits, such as ice, snow or leaves.
- Always keep the nozzles and vents in the vehicle interior clear.
