Store all objects in the vehicle securely so that they cannot get into the driver's footwell. Always install floor mats firmly and as prescribed to ensure sufficient clearance for the pedals at all times. Do not use loose floor mats and do not place floor mats on top of one another.WARNING
Operation of the pedals can be impaired by unsuitable footwear, e.g.- Shoes with platform soles
- Shoes with high heels

You will then need considerable force to steer and brake. There is a risk of an accident!Do not switch off the ignition while driving.
WARNING
If the parking brake is not fully released while driving, the parking brake can- overheat and thereby cause a fire
- lose its holding function.
NOTE
Do not let the engine warm up while stationary. Drive off immediately. Avoid high engine speeds and full throttle until the engine has reached its operating temperature.
Only select the respective drive position on the automatic transmission when the vehicle is stationary. When starting off on slippery surfaces, avoid spinning the drive wheels if possible. Otherwise you may damage the drivetrain.
AMG vehicles: At low engine oil temperatures (below +20 °C
) the maximum engine speed is limited to protect the engine. Avoid full-load operation when the engine is cold, to protect the engine and to avoid loss of comfort.
Hybrid vehicles: Be sure to read the supplementary manual “HYBRID”, which is part of the vehicle literature. Otherwise you may not recognize hazards.
