The coolant provides frost protection down to approximately -28 °C.

Use only approved antifreeze.

Coolant level

Notice

An insufficient coolant level can cause engine damage.

When the cooling system is cold, the coolant level must be above the fill level mark.

Top up if the level is low.

On other models, the fluid level mark is located inside the filler opening.

To check, open the cap.

Auxiliary cooling circuit for turbo engine

The coolant reservoir is attached to the air filter housing.

When the cooling system is cold, the coolant level must be above the fill level mark.

Top up if the level is low.

General information

Caution

Let the engine cool down before opening the cap. Open the cap carefully, allowing the pressure to escape slowly.

To top up, use a 1:1 mixture of the recommended coolant concentrate and clean tap water. If coolant concentrate is not available, use clean tap water. Tighten the cap securely.

Have the coolant concentration checked and have the cause of the coolant loss corrected by a workshop.
