Electric seat adjustment

Caution

Use caution when operating power seats.

Risk of injury, especially to children. Objects may become trapped.

Watch the seats closely during adjustment. Inform passengers of the potential risks.

Seat position

Move the front of the switch forward/rearward.

Seat height

Move the switch up/down.

Seat cushion tilt

Move the front of the switch up/down.

Seat backrests

Turn the switch forward/rearward.

Power Seat and Outside Mirror Memory

Two different driver seat and outside mirror settings can be stored.

Memory Settings 23, Vehicle Personalization 116.

Storing Positions in Memory with Buttons 1 and 2

• Adjust the driver seat, then adjust the outside mirrors to the desired positions.
• Press and hold the MEM button and button 1 at the same time until you hear a signal.
• Repeat the steps for a second driver using button 2.

Recalling Stored Positions

Press and hold position button 1 or 2 until the stored seat and outside mirror positions are reached.

Releasing the button during movement stops the recall.

Storing Positions with the Remote Control

The current driver seat and outside mirror positions are automatically stored to the remote control key each time the ignition is switched off.

These stored positions are independent of the memory positions saved with buttons 1 or 2; see the section above.

The stored positions are automatically recalled when unlocking and opening the driver door with the stored remote control key. If the door is already open, press the buttonon the remote control to
activate the recall.

To interrupt a recall movement, press any of the power seat or power mirror memory controls.

This function can be switched on or off in the Settings menu of the information display. Vehicle personalisation 116.

Easy Exit Function

To make it easier to get out of the vehicle, the driver's power seat moves rearward when the vehicle is stationary. To activate, switch off the ignition, remove the key from the ignition lock and open the driver's door.

If the door is already open, switch off the ignition to activate the recall.

To interrupt a recall movement, press one of the power seat memory buttons.

This function can be switched on or off in the Settings menu of the information display. Vehicle personalisation 116.

Protection function

If you feel some resistance when the driver's seat is moving, the recall can be interrupted.

After removing the obstruction, manually press and hold the appropriate power seat memory button for two seconds.

Try recalling the memory positions again. If the recall still does not work, consult a workshop.

Overloading

If the power seat is electrically overloaded, the power supply is automatically switched off for a short time.

Note

After an accident in which the airbags have deployed, the stored settings for each memory position will be deactivated.
