Side airbags

In the event of a severe side impact, the system protects the driver or front passenger by reducing the risk of chest injury.

Each side airbag is integrated into the front seat backrests on the door side.

Activation

The airbags deploy independently; in the event of a severe side impact affecting all or part of side zone B, at right angles to the vehicle's longitudinal axis, in the horizontal plane and from the outside towards the inside of the vehicle.

The side airbag inflates between the occupants of the front seats and the door data plate.
