Manual activation

The wipers are controlled directly by the driver using switch A and ring B.

Windshield Wiper

1. Operating speed selection switch:

fast (heavy rain),

normal (moderate rain),

intermittent (speed-dependent
interval),

off,

single wipe (press down),

automatic (see next
page).

Rear wiper

In case of snowfall, heavy icing of the glass, or when a roof-mounted bicycle carrier is used on the luggage compartment, switch off the automatic wiper mode in the configuration menu on the multifunction display. After each ignition switch-off, switch automatic wiper mode back on by gently pressing switch A downwards.

Malfunction

If the automatic front wiper operation fails, the front wiper operates in intermittent mode.

Have the system checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.

Do not cover the rain sensor, which is combined with the light sensor and located in the centre of the windscreen behind the interior rear-view mirror. Switch off the ignition when driving through an automatic car wash.

In winter, wait until the windscreen is completely defrosted before switching on the automatic windscreen wiper mode.

Special windscreen wiper position

Within one minute of switching off the ignition, each use of the wiper control lever will set the wipers to the centre of the windscreen.

This procedure sets the wipers to the winter rest position.

Once the wipers are positioned on the windscreen, switch on the ignition and move the lever.
