Battery

Before the
winter period, have your battery checked by the PEUGEOT network.

Air filter and cabin filter

Have the filter elements
replaced periodically.

If the environment requires it, replace them twice as often.

Particulate filter (diesel)

Particulate filter maintenance must be carried out by the PEUGEOT network, in accordance with the manufacturer's maintenance schedule.

Note: after prolonged driving at very low speed or at idle, you may occasionally notice water vapour from the exhaust during acceleration. This has no effect on vehicle behaviour or on the environment.

On vehicles fitted with a particulate filter, the cooling fan may run after the vehicle is switched off, even with the engine cold.

Brake pads

Brake wear depends on
driving style, particularly for vehicles used in town on short journeys.

The condition of the brakes may need to be checked, even between vehicle services.

Parking brake

Excessive
travel of the parking brake or a loss of braking efficiency of this system requires adjustment.

Have this system checked by the PEUGEOT network.

To ensure optimum operation of essential components such as the power steering and the braking system, the manufacturer selects and supplies specific products. Use only products recommended by PEUGEOT.

Brake disc wear condition

For information on checking brake disc wear, consult the PEUGEOT network.

To avoid damaging electrical components, high-pressure washing of the engine compartment is strictly prohibited.
