The ABS improves the stability and steering control of your vehicle when braking, particularly on poor or slippery surfaces.
This system operates automatically when there is a risk of wheel lock.
Normal operation of the ABS may be felt as slight vibrations in the brake pedal.
In an emergency braking situation, press the pedal very firmly and never release the pressure.
Note: when changing wheels (tyres and rims), make sure they are approved.
It indicates that the
ABS braking system is faulty.
It also lights up in the
instrument cluster display.
If it stays on above 10 km/h, it indicates an ABS fault.
The vehicle nevertheless retains conventional assisted braking.
