Engine oil level: topping up, filling

Topping up / filling

The vehicle must be on level ground, with the engine stopped and cold (for example: before the first start of the day).

• Unscrew cap 1;
• restore the level (for information, the capacity between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks on dipstick 2 is 1.5 to 2 litres depending on engine);
• wait about 10 minutes to allow the oil to drain down;
• check the level using dipstick 2 (as explained above).

Once the operation is complete, remember to push the dipstick fully home and screw the cap fully in.

To avoid splashing, we recommend using a funnel when topping up or filling the oil. Do not exceed the "MAX" level and do not forget to refit cap 1 and dipstick 2.
