DEPOSE

REMOVAL

Remove the air filter (two upper mounting bolts, two lower mounting nuts (1)).

Collecteur d’e'chappement

From above, remove the two nuts securing the exhaust downpipe to the manifold.

Loosen, without removing, the clamp nut connecting the downpipe to the exhaust pipe.

Swing the exhaust downpipe towards the gearbox.

Remove the manifold nuts:

  • from above, nuts (A),
  • from below, nuts (B).

Special feature

To remove nut (C) located above the starter motor, use a small ratchet (6.35 mm square drive) and a universal joint.

INSTALLATION

Replace the manifold gaskets (metal part of the gasket facing the manifolds).

Replace the gaskets between the intake manifold and the air filter.

Replace the steel gasket between the exhaust manifold and the exhaust downpipe.

For other refitting operations, reverse the removal procedure.
