Interior trim care
A well-maintained vehicle lasts longer. It is therefore recommended to clean the interior of the vehicle regularly.
A stain must always be treated quickly.
Whatever the type of stain, use cold (or lukewarm) soapy water made with natural soap.
Do not use detergents (washing-up liquid, powder products, alcohol-based products, etc.).
Use a soft cloth.
Rinse and blot up the excess.
Instrument display windows
(e.g. dashboard, clock, outside temperature display, radio display, etc.) Use a soft cloth or cotton wool.
If this is not sufficient, use a soft cloth (or cotton wool) slightly dampened with soapy water, then rinse with a soft cloth or damp cotton wool.
Finish by gently wiping with a dry, soft cloth.
Products containing alcohol must not be used.
Seat belts
They must be kept clean.
Use either products recommended by our Technical Services (brand shop), or lukewarm soapy water with a sponge, and dry with a dry cloth.
Do not use detergents or dye.
Fabrics (seats, door trim...)
Vacuum fabrics regularly.
Liquid stain
Use soapy water.
Blot or dab lightly (never rub) with a soft cloth, then rinse and blot up the excess.
Solid or paste stain
Immediately and carefully remove the excess solid or paste with a spatula (working from the edges towards the centre to avoid spreading the stain).
Clean as for a liquid stain.
Special case of sweets and chewing gum
Place an ice cube on the stain to harden it, then proceed as for a solid stain.
For any interior maintenance advice or unsatisfactory results, consult the brand representative.
Removing/refitting removable original equipment in the vehicle
If you need to remove removable items to clean the interior (for example floor mats), always make sure they are refitted correctly and on the correct side (the driver's floor mat must be refitted on the driver's side...) and secured using the fixings supplied with the equipment (for example, the driver's floor mat must always be secured using the pre-fitted fixing points).
In all cases, with the vehicle stationary, check that nothing can interfere with driving (obstruction in the pedal travel, heel caught under the floor mat...).
What not to do
It is strongly advised not to place objects at the air vents, such as air fresheners, perfume, etc., as they could damage the dashboard trim.
! It is strongly advised not to use high-pressure or spray cleaning equipment inside the passenger compartment: if used without care, this could damage, among other things, the electrical or electronic components in the vehicle.Test yourself
