Identification marking examples

Construction types:

Bias ply: no marking
Radial: R
Belted bias: B

The pressure values given are for full load or motorway driving.

Inflation pressure must be checked when cold. Temperature rise while driving increases pressure by 0.2 to 0.3 bar.

If checking pressure when hot, allow for this pressure increase and never release air.

Snow chain fitting

For safety reasons, it is strictly forbidden to fit snow chains on the rear axle.

"Snow" or all-season tyres: fit them on all four wheels to preserve as much as possible the vehicle's grip.

BALANCE WEIGHTS

Use only replacement weights:

• clip-on type for steel rims (clip integral with the weight),
• clip-on (flat clip) or self-adhesive type for aluminium alloy rims.
