Opening rear window

Vehicle with opening rear window

The rear window locks and unlocks at the same time as the doors.

To open

Press button 2.

Lift the rear window by the base of the wiper 1.

To close

Hold the base of wiper 1 and lower the rear window until it locks.

Operating restriction

It is not possible to open the tailgate and the opening rear window at the same time (electronic lockout).

Driving
with the rear window open may cause discomfort to passengers due to possible exhaust gas intake. This use should be reserved, for short distances, for transporting bulky items without having to open the tailgate. In this case, close the other windows and the sunroof and run the ventilation at medium or maximum setting, in order to prevent exhaust gases from entering the passenger compartment.
