CLEARING

RZ001: fault memory.

This command clears the faults stored by the control unit.

CONFIGURATIONS / CONFIGURATION READINGS

  • To simplify configuration of the AIRBAG ACU4 control unit, the diagnostic tool offers automatic configuration commands for firing lines and sensors according to the equipment of the different versions.
  • However, the commands in the table on the following page allow each element of the system to be configured individually, to match the control unit configuration to the actual vehicle equipment.
  • The configuration reading commands (LCXXX) show the configuration state of the control unit in relation to the firing lines and sensors fitted to the vehicle.
  • The configuration commands (CFXXX) adapt the control unit configuration to the actual vehicle equipment.

STANDARD CONFIGURATION COMMANDS:

  • CF297: B/C WITHOUT SIDE AIRBAGS.

Vehicle types B, C WITHOUT FRONT AND REAR SIDE THORAX AIRBAGS AND WITHOUT SIDE HEAD AIRBAGS (SABLAT / SSABCS).

  • CF298: B/C WITH FRONT THORAX + HEAD AIRBAGS.

Vehicle types B, C fitted with FRONT SIDE THORAX AIRBAGS + SIDE HEAD AIRBAGS (ABLAVI / SSABCS).

  • CF299: B/C WITH FRONT/REAR THORAX + HEAD AIRBAGS.

Vehicle types B, C fitted with FRONT AND REAR SIDE THORAX AIRBAGS + SIDE HEAD AIRBAGS (ABLAT / SSABCS).

  • CF300: G/S WITH HEAD AIRBAGS.

S (company) vehicle types fitted with HEAD SIDE AIRBAGS (ABLAVI / SSABCS).

  • CF301: G/S WITHOUT HEAD AIRBAGS.

S (company) vehicle types WITHOUT HEAD SIDE AIRBAGS (ABLAV / SSABCS).

  • CF302: J WITHOUT SIDE AIRBAGS.

J vehicle types. Command for automatic configuration of firing lines and sensors for SCENIC vehicles without side chest airbags or head airbags (SABLAT / SSABCS).

  • CF303: J WITH SIDE AIRBAGS WITHOUT FRONT REAR AIRBAGS.

J vehicle types. Command for automatic configuration of firing lines and sensors for SCENIC vehicles with front chest side airbags, head airbags and without rear belt airbag (ABLAVI/SSABCS).

  • CF304: J WITH SIDE AIRBAGS + REAR FRONT AIRBAGS.

J vehicle type. Command for automatic configuration of firing lines and sensors for SCENIC vehicles with front chest side airbags, head airbag and rear belt airbag (ABLAVI / ABCAR).

  • CF305: E WITH SIDE AIRBAGS.

E vehicle type. Command for automatic configuration of firing lines and sensors for CABRIOLET vehicles with front chest side airbags (ABLAV / SSABCS).

  • CF306: E WITHOUT SIDE AIRBAGS. E vehicle types. Command for automatic configuration of firing lines and sensors for CABRIOLET vehicles without front chest side airbags (SABLAT / SSABCS).
  • CF307: K/L WITHOUT SIDE AIRBAGS.

Vehicle types K and L. Command for automatic configuration of firing circuits and sensors on BREAK and 4-door SALOON vehicles without front side thorax airbags or head airbags (SABLAT / SSABCS).

  • CF308: K/L WITH FRONT THORAX + HEAD AIRBAGS.

Vehicle types K and L. Command for automatic configuration of firing circuits and sensors on BREAK and 4-door SALOON vehicles with front side thorax airbags and head airbags (ABLAVI / SSABCS).

  • CF309: K/L WITH FRONT/REAR THORAX + HEAD AIRBAGS.

Vehicle types K and L. Command for automatic configuration of firing circuits and sensors on BREAK and 4-door SALOON vehicles with front and rear side thorax airbags and head airbags (ABLAT / SSABCS).

Due to possible unification of ECU references at the spare parts store, it may be necessary to deconfigure certain sensors or squib circuits after using the standard configuration commands. To do so, use the individual configuration commands for the system components.

At the end of configuration, check that the information is correctly taken into account on the "configuration reading" screen.

CONFIGURATIONS / CONFIGURATION READINGS

  • CONFIGURABLE ELEMENTS:

Squib circuits "WITH" or "WITHOUT":

The front belt pretensioners are wired in series.

The rear retractors are wired in series.

Lignes de mises à feu "AVEC" ou "SANS"

Sensors "WITH" or "WITHOUT":

Capteurs "AVEC" ou "SANS"

Steering side configuration "Left" "Right"

Configuration côté de direction "Gauche" "Droit"

Passenger airbag lock mode "WITH KEY" or "WITHOUT":

Mode de verrouillage airbag passager "AVEC CLE" ou "SANS" :

Vehicle type reading: LC034 "MEGANE II"

OTHER COMMANDS

  • VP006: ECU lock.

This command must be performed during every intervention on the system. It inhibits all squib circuits.

  • VP007: ECU unlock.

This command unlocks the control unit when it is new or has been inhibited by command VP006.

  • VP008: Write date of last after-sales intervention.

This command writes the intervention date to the system.

  • VP010: VIN writing.

This command writes the VIN number to the control unit.

  • SC004: Crash context reading.

This command is to be used for restoring the vehicle after a crash. It allows the list of controlled squib circuits and the state of the system at the time of the crash to be obtained from the ECU to be replaced.
