TIGHTENING TORQUE (in N.m)
Seat bolt 35
IMPORTANT:

Before working on the airbag system, lock the electronic control unit using the diagnostic tools (see chapter 8).

REMOVAL

Protect:

  • the front sill trim,
  • the carpet.

Unhook the seat belt by pressing the latch (A).

Move the seat to the forward position.

Remove the rear mounting bolts.

Move the seat to the rear position.

Remove the front mounting bolts.

Disconnect the under-seat connector.

Remove the seat.

This procedure requires two operators.

INSTALLATION

Refit in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION: Observe the seat bolt tightening sequence.

Tighten:

  • the rear bolt (A) toward the inside of the vehicle,
  • the front bolt (B) toward the inside of the vehicle,
  • the rear bolt (C) toward the outside of the vehicle,
  • the front bolt (D) toward the outside of the vehicle.

Tighten to torque.
