Description

The rear view camera activates when the back-up lamp is on, with the ignition on and the shift lever in the R position. This system is an optional system that displays the area behind the vehicle on the AV monitor or the ECM (rearview mirror) mirror during reversing.
This system is only an auxiliary feature. It is the driver's responsibility to always check the inside/outside rearview mirror and the area behind the vehicle before and while backing up, because there is a blind spot that cannot be seen through the camera.
