Inspection

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Using a screwdriver or puller, remove the fuel filler door opener switch (A).
    Be careful not to scratch the surface of the trim.
  3. Disconnect the fuel filler door opener switch connector (A).
  4. Apply battery voltage to each terminal No. 2 (+) and No. 7 (-) as shown in the table. Check continuity between terminal No. 2 and No. 5. If operation is abnormal, replace the switch assembly.
