1. RESET
- When the control motor and clutch is replaced: The power slide door ECU cannot receive a switch signal from the control motor and clutch. This may cause the power slide door system to enter fail-safe mode and DTC (B2224 (LH) or B2223 (RH)) to set, and also make the system disabled.
When the motor and clutch is replaced, be sure to perform the following: first, properly connect the motor and clutch; second, clear the DTC using the intelligent tester and finally recheck that no DTC is output.
- Reset the power slide door system: The power slide door ECU records the fully open position of the power slide door in its memory and the power slide door fully opens and closes based on this memory. The power slide door cannot operate without this memory. In the case where the battery has been removed, manually close the slide door fully to reset the power slide door system.
However, if the battery is removed / installed when the slide door is fully open, the power slide door operates normally, thus the resetting the system is unnecessary.
