Note Removal and installation are described for the right hinge only. Removal and installation of the left hinge are similar.

Removing

Torque wrench -V.A.G 1331-

Removing and installing hinges
  • Removing bonnet -2- → Chapter
  • If fitted, remove caps -4-.
  • Remove bolts -3-.
  • Pull off hinge -1-.

Installing
Removing and installing hinges

Installation of the hinge -1- is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

  • Install bonnet -2- → Chapter.

Specified torques

Hinges → Chapter „Assembly overview - bonnet“
