If you tow a trailer, it is a good idea to inspect these items before starting a trip. Do not forget to also maintain your trailer and hitch. Observe the maintenance schedule supplied with your trailer and check it periodically. It is preferable to perform the check at the start of each driving day. Most importantly, make sure that all hitch nuts and bolts are tightened.
