The LED in the button flashes and the message PDC malfunction appears on the control display. Have the system checked at a BMW service center.

For the system to work correctly, keep its sensors clean. When cleaning with high-pressure washers, make sure the jet does not stay on the PDC sensors. Maintain a distance of at least 10 cm.
