Starting route guidance

For principles of iDrive operation, refer to.

1. Move to the upper field. Turn the controller to select "Navigation" and press the controller.

2. Select a destination from the destination list and press the controller, or enter a new destination.

3. Select “Start guidance” and press the controller.

The calculated route is shown on the control display as an arrow view or as a route map.

To start destination guidance when the arrow view or map is displayed, selectand press the controller.

During destination guidance, you can use iDrive to operate other vehicle equipment. Before an intersection, the navigation system will give you timely notice to turn using voice prompts and arrows.
