The USB/Audio port allows you to connect an iPod or USB devices (MP3 player, USB memory card) so they can be operated via iDrive.

Popular formats such as MP3, WMA, WAV (PCM) and AAC are supported, as well as playlists in M3U format.

Since a huge variety of audio devices is available on the market today, control of a particular audio device via the vehicle systems is not always guaranteed.
