Operating Principle
The cruise control system with braking can be used from a speed of 30 km/h. In this case, the system stores and maintains the speed set with the steering column lever switch. The system is able to brake the vehicle if the engine braking effect is insufficient to maintain the set speed when driving downhill.
Do not use the cruise control system if road conditions do not allow you to drive at a constant speed. Otherwise you may lose control of the vehicle and cause an accident. Unfavorable conditions include: winding roads, heavy traffic, poor road surfaces (snow, rain, ice, loose surfaces) and others.◄
Vehicles with manual transmission
You can change gears while the cruise control system is operating. If you delay shifting at engine speeds that are too high or too low, the warning lamp will prompt you to shift. Further delay will cause the cruise control system to switch off.
