Gentle acceleration:

Push the lever forward (arrow 1) to the detent point and hold it until the vehicle accelerates to the required speed.

Faster acceleration:

Push the lever forward (arrow 1) beyond the detent point and hold it until the vehicle accelerates to the required speed.

The vehicle accelerates without pressing the accelerator pedal. The system stores and maintains the reached speed.
