Hill Start Assist with 6-cylinder engines
This system allows the vehicle to start moving on inclines without applying the parking brake.
1. Press the brake pedal to keep the vehicle from rolling back.
2. Release the brake pedal and immediately move off quickly.
Hill Start Assist holds the vehicle from rolling back for 2 seconds after the brake pedal is released. The vehicle may roll back slightly during this time when it is heavily loaded or towing a trailer. After releasing the brake pedal, start moving immediately, because after 2 seconds the vehicle is released by Hill Start Assist and will begin to roll back.◄
