Word matching function

The word match function makes it easier to enter town and street names. It constantly compares the entered data with the data stored on the navigation DVD and immediately responds to matches. This provides the following advantages:

► Town names can also be entered in a spelling that differs from the official one, if that form is used in other countries.

Example:

Instead of “München”, you can enter the English name “Munich” or the Italian “Monaco”.

► When entering town and street names, the system automatically adds the ending if it determines that no other options are possible.

► The system only allows letters that appear in the names stored on the disc to be entered. Therefore, incorrect names or non-existent addresses are excluded.
