CD player: starting CD playback

Insert the CD label side up.

If the unit is switched on, playback starts automatically. Reading the content of a CD with compressed audio files may take up to 50 seconds, depending on the file structure.

If a disc is already inserted, start playback via the control center.

iDrive operating principles

1. Press the button.

The main menu opens.

2. Slide the controller back to open the "Entertainment" menu.

3. Select "CD" and press the controller.

4. On vehicles with a CD changer, switch on the player by selecting "CD" and pressing the controller.

If the unit is switched on, playback starts automatically.

To eject a CD, press the button on the CD player.

The CD is ejected from the disc drive.
