Towing Eye

Always carry the removable towing eye with you. The eye is screwed into the threaded receptacles provided at the front and rear of the vehicle.

Sedan:

The towing eye is located in the vehicle tool kit in the luggage compartment lid.

Touring:

The towing eye is located in the vehicle tool kit behind the left side cover of the luggage compartment.

To avoid damage to the towing eye and the vehicle, observe the following: use only the original towing eye for towing. Screw it into the socket until it stops. Use the towing eye only for towing on paved roads. The towing eye is not designed for lateral loads (for example, do not lift the vehicle by the towing eye).◄
