The indicator lights up when the ignition is switched on and goes out shortly after the engine starts.

Caution Engine lubrication may have been interrupted. This may lead to engine seizure and/or locking of the driven wheels.

If the engine oil pressure warning light comes on while driving, pull over safely, turn off the engine and check the oil level.

Warning With the engine off, braking and steering require much greater effort.

Do not remove the key from the ignition until the vehicle has come to a complete stop. Otherwise the steering lock may engage.

Before contacting service, check the engine oil level. Engine oil.
