Halogen Bulbs

Replacing bulbs in the Chevrolet Captiva involves several steps depending on the specific type of bulb. For headlamp bulbs, accessing them typically requires opening the hood, locating the back of the headlamp assembly, and removing the bulb socket by twisting it counterclockwise. Fog lamp bulbs might also require accessing the back of the fog lamp assembly, usually located near the front bumper, and twisting the bulb socket to remove it. Turn signal bulbs are often accessed from inside the engine compartment or through the wheel well, and they may require twisting or pulling the socket to replace the bulb.

Stoplamps and back-up lamps usually have accessible bulb sockets from inside the trunk or rear hatch area. These sockets can be twisted or pulled out to remove the old bulb and replace it with a new one. It's essential to ensure that the replacement bulbs match the specifications recommended for 2014 Chevrolet Captiva to ensure proper fit and functionality. Additionally, before starting any bulb replacement procedure, it's advisable to consult the vehicle's owner's manual or seek professional assistance if unsure about the process or bulb types.
