Chevrolet Cruze. Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Replacement

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement.
  2. Remove the radiator grille support reinforcement. Refer to Radiator Grille Reinforcement Support Replacement.
  3. Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Retainer Bolt (Qty: 2) Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.
Tighten 20 N·m.
  • Hood Primary and Secondary Latch

    • Procedure

    1. To release the hood primary and secondary latch unhook the hood primary latch release cable.
    2. Disconnect electrical connectors as needed.
