Keyless Access System

Allows you to control the following without a mechanical key:

• central locking,

• anti-theft alarm,

• ignition and starter.

The driver only needs to carry the keyless access key.

Press the Start/Stop button. The ignition is switched on. The yellow indicator LED in the button lights up, confirming that the ignition is on. The electronic immobilizer is deactivated.

To start the engine, press the Start/Stop button with the brake pedal applied and the clutch pedal depressed. The engine will start automatically. A diesel engine starts after glow plug preheating.

Engine operation is indicated by the green LED illuminating the button.

Automatic transmission:

the engine may be started only when the selector lever is in P or N.

To switch off the engine and ignition, press the Start/Stop button again. The vehicle must be stationary. The immobilizer is activated at the same time.

Do not press the Start/Stop button while the vehicle is moving.

Do not leave the keyless access key in the luggage compartment or on the Info-Display.

To ensure full system operation, keep the sensors in the door handles clean.

If the door is locked from outside the vehicle using a keyless access key while another keyless access key is inside the vehicle, the key inside the vehicle will be disabled.

The engine cannot be started with it. A disabled keyless access key can be reactivated by pressing its button.

When leaving the vehicle with a keyless access key left inside, three continuous warning tones will sound when the door is closed. This function can be configured in the Info-Display. If the keyless access key is near the doors or windows, it may be detected as being inside the vehicle. In this case, a warning tone may sound.
