Indicators (turn signals)

► Left or right: push down or pull up the lighting control past the resistance point.

Leaving the direction indicators on for more than 20 seconds causes the audible signal to increase when the speed is above 80 km/h.

Three flashes

► Give a simple push down or up, without going past the resistance point; the direction indicators will flash three times.

Parking lights

(Depending on version)

Side marker lighting: only the position lights on the traffic side are switched on.

► Within one minute after switching off the ignition, move the lighting control down or up, depending on the side of traffic (e.g. when parking on the right, push the lighting control down for lighting on the left).

This is indicated by an audible signal and by the corresponding direction indicator warning light coming on in the instrument panel.

► To switch off the parking lights, return the lighting control to the centre position.

Automatic lighting activation

With the lighting control ring in the "AUTO" position, if the rain/light sensor detects low outside brightness, the position lights and dipped beam headlights switch on automatically without any action by the driver. They may also switch on when rain is detected, at the same time as the automatic front wiper operation.

When brightness is sufficient or after the wipers stop, the lights switch off automatically.

Malfunction

In the event of a rain/light sensor malfunction, the lights switch on, this warning light comes on in the instrument panel, accompanied by an audible signal and/or a message display.

Have it checked by a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.

Do not cover the rain/light sensor, located in the upper central part of the windscreen behind the interior rear-view mirror; the associated functions would no longer be controlled.

In fog or snow, the rain/light sensor may detect sufficient light. The lights will therefore not switch on automatically.

The inner surface of the windscreen may mist up and prevent the rain/light sensor from working correctly.

In damp and cold weather, defrost the windscreen regularly.

Follow-me-home and welcome lighting

Follow-me-home lighting

Automatic

With the lighting control ring in the "AUTO" position, in low light conditions, the dipped beam headlights switch on automatically when the ignition is switched off.

Activation / deactivation, as well as the setting of the follow-me-home lighting duration, are made through the Driving / Vehicle menu of the touchscreen tablet.

Manual

► Ignition off, pull the lighting control ("headlamp flash") to switch the function on / off.

Manual follow-me-home lighting switches off automatically after a certain time.

Automatic exterior welcome lighting

When the "Automatic light switching on" function is activated, in low light conditions, the position lights, dipped beam headlights and exterior mirror puddle lamps switch on automatically when the vehicle is unlocked.

Activation or deactivation, as well as the duration of the exterior welcome lighting, can be set through the Driving / Vehicle menu of the touchscreen tablet.

Exterior mirror puddle lamps

To make it easier to access the vehicle, these lamps light the ground near the front doors.

When the front courtesy lamp control is in this position, the puddle lamps switch on automatically:

- When the vehicle is unlocked.

- When a door is opened.

- On a vehicle location request from the remote control.

Whatever the position of the front courtesy lamp control, they also switch on with the welcome lighting and follow-me-home lighting.

They switch off automatically after 30 seconds.

Headlamp levelling adjustment

So as not to dazzle other road users, the beam of these headlamps must be adjusted for height according to the vehicle load.
