  1. Solar sensor.
  2. Soft-diffusion grille.
  • The soft-diffusion grille located in the center of the dashboard ensures optimal air distribution for the front seats.
  • This system eliminates unpleasant draughts while maintaining an optimal temperature in the cabin.
  • To open the soft-diffusion grille, turn the wheel upward.
  • To close the soft-diffusion grille, turn the wheel fully downward.
  • In very hot weather, for more effective central and side ventilation, it is recommended to close the soft-diffusion vents.
  1. Cooled glovebox.
  2. Rear passenger air vents.
TIPS FOR VENTILATION, HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING Air conditioning

It is recommended to use automatic air conditioning.

It automatically and optimally manages all of the following functions: airflow, cabin temperature and air distribution, using various sensors (outside temperature, sunlight). This means you do not need to adjust the settings other than the displayed value.

  • Take care not to block the sunlight sensor A.

If you keep automatic mode (by pressing «AUTO») with all vents open, you maintain optimum comfort and remove humidity and fogging regardless of outside weather conditions.

The cabin temperature cannot be lower than the outside temperature if the air conditioning is not running.

For efficient operation, air conditioning should only be used with the windows closed.

If, after a prolonged stop in the sun, the cabin temperature is very high, ventilate the cabin with the windows open for a few moments, then close the windows.

To keep the air conditioning system working properly, it is essential to run the air conditioning at least once a month.

Air conditioning uses engine power when operating.

This results in increased vehicle fuel consumption.

In certain particularly demanding situations (towing maximum load up a steep slope in high temperatures), switching off the air conditioning recovers engine power, thereby improving towing capacity.

Air intake

Keep the external air intake grille located at the base of the windscreen clean (dead leaves, snow, etc.).

When washing the vehicle with a high-pressure washer, avoid spraying the air intake area.

Air circulation

Maximum comfort is achieved through good air distribution in the cabin, both front and rear.

To obtain even air distribution, make sure not to obstruct the external air intake grille located at the base of the windscreen, the air vents, the air outlets under the front seats and the air extraction vent located behind the panels in the boot.

The front and rear air vents are fitted with wheels to adjust the airflow and direct the air flow. It is recommended to keep all air vents open.

Dust filter / Odour filter (activated charcoal)

Your system is equipped with a filter that traps certain dust particles and reduces odours.

This filter must be replaced according to the maintenance schedule (see: «Service Booklet»).
