When automatic headlamp activation is switched on, the dipped beam headlamps remain on after the ignition is switched off in conditions of poor visibility.

Programming

The courtesy lighting can be switched on or off, and its duration set, in the vehicle configuration or settings menu (except on models with a monochrome screen A, where the duration is fixed at 60 s).

In fog or snowfall, the light sensor may consider the light level sufficient. In this case the lights will not switch on automatically. Do not cover the light sensor, which is combined with the rain sensor and located on the windscreen behind the interior rear-view mirror; the functions linked to it will not be able to operate.
