Manual control

~2min read

The driver controls the lighting directly using ring A and switch B.

A. Main lighting selection ring: turn the ring to align the required symbol with the marker.

Lights off (ignition off) / Daytime running lights (engine running).

Automatic light activation

Position lights only.

Dipped or main beam headlights.

B. Lighting change switch: pull it to switch between dipped and main beam headlights.

When the lights are off or the position lights are on, the driver can directly activate the main beam ("flashing") by holding the switch pulled.

Display

The corresponding indicator light on the instrument panel confirms that the selected lighting is on.

The instrument panel is permanently illuminated.

The instrument panel lighting is therefore not linked to switching the lights on.

Model with front fog lamps and rear fog lamp

Model z przednimi reflektorami przeciwmgłowymi i tylnym światłem przeciwmgłowym

C. Fog lamp selection ring.

They work together with the dipped and main beam headlights.

Front and rear
fog lights

Turn ring C:

  • forward once to switch on the front fog lights,
  • forward a second time to switch on the rear fog light,
  • backward once to switch off the rear fog light,
  • backward a second time to switch off the front fog lights.

When the lights switch off automatically (in models with AUTO) or when the dipped beam headlamps are switched off manually, the front fog lights and the position lights remain on.

  • Turn the ring backward to switch off the fog lights; the position lights will also switch off.
In fine weather, and during rain both day and night, the front fog lamps and rear fog lamp must be switched off. In these conditions the intensity of the beam may dazzle other drivers. Remember to switch off the front fog lamps and rear fog lamp when they are no longer needed. Lights-on warning buzzer When the ignition is switched off, all lights switch off automatically, except when follow-me-home lighting is activated. In manual lighting mode, if the driver's door is opened, a warning sounds to indicate that the vehicle lights have been left on with the ignition off.
