"ISOFIX" anchorages

The vehicle is approved according to the latest ISOFIX regulations.

The seats shown below are equipped with the appropriate ISOFIX anchorages:

This applies to three anchorage points for each seat:

• two anchorage points A, located between the seat back and the seat cushion, marked with a label,

• one anchorage point B, located behind the seat, called TOP TETHER for attaching the top tether strap.

The TOP TETHER anchorage allows the top tether strap of child seats equipped with one to be attached. This device limits forward tilting of the child seat in the event of a frontal collision.

The ISOFIX anchorage system provides reliable, secure and quick fitting of a child seat in the vehicle.

ISOFIX child seats are equipped with two connectors, which are attached to the two anchorage points A.

Some also have a top tether strap, which connects to anchorage point B.

To attach the child seat to the TOP TETHER anchorage:

• remove and store the head restraint before installing the child seat in this position (refit the head restraint after removing the child seat),
• pass the child seat tether strap behind the top of the seat back, centring it between the head restraint guide holes,
• attach the top tether strap hook to anchorage point B,
• tighten the top tether strap.

When installing an ISOFIX child seat in the right rear seat position, first move the centre rear seat belt towards the centre of the vehicle so that it does not obstruct the seat installation.
