In accordance with European legislation, the table below shows the ISOFIX child seat installation options in the vehicle on seats equipped with ISOFIX anchorages.

For universal and semi-universal ISOFIX child seats, the ISOFIX size class of the child seat, marked with a letter from A to G, is shown on the child seat next to the ISOFIX logo.

IUF: seat suitable for installing universal ISOFIX child seats (F) 'facing forward', secured with the TOP TETHER top tether strap.

IL-SU: seat suitable for installing ISOFIX semi-universal child seats (S):

  • 'facing rearward', equipped with a top tether or support leg,
  • 'facing forward', equipped with a support leg,
  • carrycot equipped with a top tether or support leg.

To attach the top tether, see the section 'ISOFIX anchorages'.

X: position not suitable for installing an ISOFIX child seat or carrycot in the given weight group

Remove and store the head restraint before installing a child seat with a backrest on the passenger seat. Refit the head restraint after removing the child seat.
