GENERAL INFORMATION.

When operating the vehicle in heavily dusty areas, replace the filter element more often than specified in the maintenance

schedule. Periodically between replacements, clean the filter element of dust by shaking it vigorously.

Wipe the inside of the air filter housing and its cover with a damp cloth. Blow the air filter element with compressed air in a direction

opposite to the airflow when the engine is running. Do not operate the engine with the air filter removed.

The air filter may be temporarily removed from the engine only for

repair or maintenance of the vehicle.
