CD player

To activate the CD player built into the unit, proceed as follows:

• insert a CD with the unit switched on: playback of the first track will start; or
• if a CD is already inserted, switch on the car radio, then briefly press the CD button to select "CD" mode: playback of the last track listened to will start.

For optimal playback, original CDs are recommended.

When using CD-R/RW discs, good-quality discs burned at the lowest possible speed are recommended.

Inserting/ejecting a CD

To insert the CD, slide it lightly into the slot so that the motorised loading system is activated and positions it correctly.

Press the button(EJECT), with the car radio switched on, to operate the motorised CD ejection system. After ejection, the audio source listened to before CD playback will be heard.

Display indications

When the CD player is operating, the following indications appear on the display:

• "CD Track 5": indicates the CD track number;
• "03:42": indicates the time elapsed since the start of the track (if the corresponding menu function is active).

Track selection (forward/backward)

Briefly press the buttonto play the previous track on the CD, and the buttonto play the next track.

Fast forward/fast reverse of tracks

Keep the buttonpressed to fast-forward the selected track, and keep the buttonpressed to fast-reverse the track.

Fast forward/reverse stops once the button is released.

"Pause" function

To pause the CD player, press the button. The display shows "CD Pause".

To resume playback of the track, press the button again.

Selecting another audio source deactivates the pause function.
