Interior trim removal tool

Removal

1. 1
   Remove the rear sill trim panel.
   REFER TO: Rear Sill Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

   Remove the cargo area sill trim panel.
   Refer to: Cargo Area Sill Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

   Move the liftgate opening weatherstrip aside.

   Fold the rear seatback into the horizontal position.

   

Left Side

5. 
   Remove the cargo area trim panel.
   
   1. Release the cargo area trim panel clips.
      Use common equipment: interior trim remover.
   2. Disconnect the cargo area power outlet electrical connector.

Right Side

6. 
   Remove the cargo area trim panel.
   
   1. Release the cargo area trim panel clips.
      Use common equipment: interior trim remover.
   2. Disconnect the cargo area interior lamp electrical connector.

Installation

1. 1
   To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. 2
   Inspect and position the liftgate weatherstrip edge so that it overlaps the upper portion of the cargo area trim panel.
