Removal

   Remove the clips and the right side filler neck trim panel.

   Drain the windshield washer fluid.
   

   1. Open the windshield washer fluid reservoir cap.

   2. Drain the windshield washer fluid.
      Use general equipment: Fluid Suction Gun

   Remove the windshield washer reservoir filler neck.
   

   1. Remove the clip.

   2. Remove the windshield washer reservoir filler neck.

   

4. 4
   Disconnect the washer hoses.
   Refer to: Washer Hose Coupling (501-16 Wipers and Washers, General Procedures).

   Remove the RH fender splash shield.
   Refer to: Fender Splash Shield (501-02 Front End Body Panels, Removal and Installation).

   Remove the windshield washer reservoir.
   

   1. Disconnect the electrical connector, disconnect the wiring harness and set aside.

   2. Remove the clips and the windshield washer reservoir.
      Torque: 62 lb-in (7 N·m)

   

Installation

1. NOTICE: Do not operate the washer pump until the windshield washer reservoir is filled. Failure to follow this instruction may result in premature washer pump failure.

   To install, reverse the removal procedure.
   Material: Motorcraft® Premium Windshield Washer Concentrate with Bitterant / ZC-32-B2 (WSS-M14P19-A)
